A longtime Globo television host and one of Brazil’s most recognizable entertainers, Angélica has run a parallel career in business alongside her husband, presenter and entrepreneur Luciano Huck.
The investmentAngélica became a partner in Baby.com.br, an e-commerce site for babies and expectant parents, when the deal was announced in November 2011 — initial talks had been with Huck, but the partnership was structured around Angélica, who took on an advisory "Chief Mom Officer" role. The size of her stake was never disclosed.

A 2011 deal, in a very different market
This partnership dates from November 2011, which places it in a particular moment: Brazilian e-commerce was expanding quickly, capital was flowing into online retail, and category-specific shops — books, shoes, babies — were being built on the assumption that each vertical would support its own destination site.
That assumption did not hold everywhere, and much of that generation of Brazilian e-commerce was consolidated, absorbed or wound down over the following decade. Reading a 2011 announcement in 2026 without that context makes it sound more like a current position than it is; the useful question with any older deal on this site is not what was announced, but what happened afterwards.
An advisory title attached to equity
Two details in this deal are worth separating. The talks reportedly began with Luciano Huck and were restructured around Angélica, and the arrangement came with an advisory role framed as "Chief Mom Officer" — a title created for the partnership rather than an existing executive position.
Invented advisory titles are a normal feature of celebrity partnerships, and they tell you something real: the company is buying association and audience credibility, and the title exists to make that association legible to customers. It is not evidence of operational control. Her stake was never disclosed, so the size of the underlying ownership remains unknown.
